2026-11-12: Birds of Prey Center for their exclusive "Owls by Midnight" fundraiser

Prepare for a truly unique and magical experience with us at the Center for Birds of Prey in Awendaw. Their exclusive “Owls by Midnight” event invites you into the enchanting Countess Paolozzi Owl Woods, where you’ll be surrounded by a stunning variety of owl species. Witness the breathtaking beauty of these nocturnal hunters during exciting flight demonstrations under the moonlight. Experience their silent, graceful flight as they soar just inches above your head! You’ll also enjoy a tour with one of the Center’s expert educators, listening to the captivating vocalizations of the owls and learning fascinating details about individual species. Beyond the incredible bird encounters, your evening includes a complimentary bar with beer, wine, and non-alcoholic refreshments, plus a catered meal of heavy hors d’oeuvres. This special event supports the Avian Conservation Center, a vital 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to the conservation of birds of prey. Departure time is 4:00 p.m. Activity Level 4
