Jim Luken has spent the last 25 years exploring and studying the bays, waterways and swamps of coastal South Carolina from Little River to Myrtle Beach to Georgetown. Since retiring from Coastal Carolina University in 2022, he organizes and leads expreditions for fishing, photography, nature enjoyment and research. His goal is to reveal for visitors and residents the aspects of nature that often go unnoticed and are underappreciated. We welcome him to the SALT lecture series at Litchfield.
